Fabulous opportunity to put yourself on that path to Marketing Manager level with this heavyweight role leading the strategy for one of the UK’s largest brands worth over £250m and consumed by over 50% of UK households.  In this key role, based within easy reach of north London or by train/bus from Central London, you’ll be guiding the brand through a key transitional period – setting a new brand strategy, persuading consumers to reappraise the brand, developing new formats and consumption platforms and building compelling integrated comms campaigns.  This is one hugely challenging and exciting remit which needs a super talented marketer to champion it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the strategic development of the brand, delivering profitable business growth through insight-led strategy, equity development and commercial management.
  • Identifying opportunities and insights that will step change brand growth working alongside internal innovation, insight and commercial teams and key agency partners.
  • Working as part of a brand team to develop and launch annual plans including NPD, ATL/BTL and pack & price initiatives, delivering value growth and optimising the brand P&L. 
  • Managing brand A&P expenditure to maximise value and ROI for the business.
  • Leading cross-functional teams, providing vision and direction to deliver brand activities and programmes.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Checklist

  • Robust commercial experience in a leading FMCG business
  • A track record of leading top creative agencies to deliver exceptional A&P initiatives across TV, digital and other media
  • Hands-on brand management experience with P&L responsibility
  • A solid grasp of consumer, shopper and category insight data and is application
  • A passion for brands and understanding what drives consumer interest and engagement
