An ambitious Category Manager to lead category development for a significant portfolio across grocery multiples. The Category Manager will drive the development and implementation of category and shopper marketing strategies to build category growth. As category partners you will be involved in range reviews, range rationalisation and promotions. You will also be involved in other larger projects to help scope category plans for the future as well as shopper marketing and insights, retailer presentations, data analysis.
Classic commercial training in a branded FMCG business, health & beauty/personal care an advantage
Competent presenter and influencer
Strong understanding of Category Management and Shopper Marketing principles
Energy, drive, enthusiasm to engage the retail, category and sales teams
Extensive knowledge of Nielsen, Kantar, Dunnhumby, IRI, etc
