Based in one of the world's leading Finance divisions in the legal sector, this is a brilliant marketing and business development opportunity for a current Business Development Manager with a strong financial services or banking background to move to a more senior role.
Line-managing a small team, the Senior Client & Market Development Manager, will be responsible for driving forward initiatives that they feel would directly impact on the success of the practice. You will be heavily involved in strategic planning and managing client development programs across the product groups. Bid management will be an important element and you will take a lead on management of pitches through to coaching senior internal clients on their delivery. Other wider strategic marketing will also be involved across the full communications mix.
Pre-requisites for this role include an outstanding academic record allied to proven managerial experience gained either in a leading law, professional or financial services firm allied with a strong interest in financial products and the financial regulatory trends and good commercial awareness of legal, banking and financial market developments. Confident, articulate, resilient and focused, the Senior Client & Market Development Manager will also need a track record of being proactive and delivering high quality work, excellent project management skills, and high quality written communication, coaching, influencing and presentation skills.
