Senior Digital Marketing Manager
Liverpool

The primary purpose of the Senior Digital Marketing Manager will be to build and drive the Police Mutual Group digital strategy. You will constantly look for areas of improvement activities within the digital area.

Primary responsibilities include:
  • To work with the Head of Affinity Marketing to develop the overall digital strategy for all Group brands and products
  • To work with the Marketing Proposition Development team to develop a strong linkage and clear member/customer interpretation of propositions and products across digital channel and websites
  • To work with Marketing Analytics, Insight and CRM team to develop insight to understand the different affinities that enables the delivery of the overall business plans and strategic objectives of the business
  • To work with the wider Brand and the Affinity Marketing teams to design and own an effective annual digital communications plan which delivers the right KPIs to support the overall Marketing plan - collaborating to optimise elements such as our digital footprint to our user experience
  • To plan and execute appropriate digital marketing that will maximise customer/member sales, engagement and retention through all digital channels
includingSEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
  • To develop an effective and efficient approach the two websites for the affinities which assimilate and differentiate as appropriate and deliver in a cost efficient manner
  • To design, build and maintain a social media presence
  • To measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • To identify trends and insights, and optimise spend and performance based on the insights across affinities
  • To drive and lead new and creative growth strategies across the affinities
  • To plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • To utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across the digital channels and customer touch point
  • To drive a methodical approach to uplifting conversion points and optimising user funnels
  • To evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
  • To lead the work with the creative agency and other 3rd party suppliers to ensure all digital marketing is in line with the Group brand, tone and supports the affinity propositions
  • Be aware of regulatory requirements and ensure communications are compliant
  • Secure stakeholder approval and sign off of communications
  • Day to day management of third party business partner relationships
  • Identify and manage suppliers and marketing agencies
  • Manage the budget for specific activities
  • Ensure all communications are clear, fair and not misleading and relevant regulations are followed e.g. GDPR, Data Protection, Treating Customers Fairly principles
  • Awareness of data protection guidelines and internal data management procedures

Skills and qualifications required:
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels, experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools
  • Experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Strong commercial acumen with highly developed numerical and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a positive influencing style
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to forward think and react tactically where required
  • Strong collaboration and facilitation skills - the ability to bring the right people together to achieve the desired outcome
  • Evidenced experience in influencing senior stakeholders
  • Evidenced experience in building strong business networks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in evaluating and measuring customer impacts
