This is one of those 'new generation' organisations - a consumer champion business who is offering customers an open market comparison tool which enables them to manage their finances more effectively, and in an open market setting, all through their digital platform. This gives consumers a fairer market comparison that's also truly aligned to meet their needs, and thereby gives them a better outcome!
As the Senior eCRM Marketing Executive, you're going to be working on that highly sophisticated and personalised CRM programme. It's a programme currently delivering an incredibly array of journeys and experiences for customers, tailored exactly to their needs, interests and behaviours. The programme works off of Salesforce Marketing Cloud (previously known as Exact Target) - but it's not important you know this specific tool - just that you've worked with a similar platform which offers a similar degree of sophistication, and isn't just a simple mailer programme like Mailchimp (for example).
There are literally hundreds of different journeys within this eCRM programme, so you're going to have to be someone who's highly analytical so you're able to ensure the programme that's you're overseeing the execution of is delivering the required business results. This will include all relevant testing and A/B split runs in order to optimise campaign results.
Also, beyond the eCRM piece will be the need to support on broader marketing related projects. This will include supporting on other campaign channels and projects as they arise, and as such you will be reporting into the CMO directly on these too. The company is about to launch a mass consumer, multi-channel campaigns piece which will certainly accelerate the company's growth. Currently they sit around 800k customers, but this is soon to exceed the 1m mark and beyond. So there's going to be lots of opportunity to broaden out your experience beyond eCRM as this all takes off.
