Following a recent reorganisation of their Marketing team my client a well established law firm, are looking to recruit a Senior Events Executive to join their growing marketing department. Reporting into the Marketing Communications and Events Manager.

Responsibilities of the Senior Events Executive  
  • Creating an events strategy and associated plans to achieve business objectives.
  • Working closely with the Marketing and Communications Manager to ensure the successful, cost-effective and high quality delivery of events.
  • Project manage events to ensure that they are delivered on time and budget.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider firm to share events best practice.
  • Prepare post-event reports, chair debrief meetings, measure event success and co-ordinate attendee follow-up plans.
  • Manage the Events Executive.
  • Provide cover for the Events Executive in their absence.
Requirements of the Senior Events Executive  
  • Have experience of running quality events, preferably in a professional services environment.
  • Have some experience of supervising or managing a team member.
  • Have an ability to build and develop relationships with senior stakeholders and high profile speakers.
  • Can bring ideas and help the team and firm to innovate with the way they design and deliver events.
  • Preferably have experience of using Vuture, InterAction, Wordpress and social media tools.
