An excellent 3 month contract opportunity has arisen to join the marketing team of a specialist, London based law firm. As a Senior Marketing & Communications Executive, you will be involved in a range of marcomms led tasks and projects.
Assisting with the legal directories submission process will form an important part of this role. This will involve initially chasing associates for first drafts and then reviewing, amending and improving the first drafts as required. You will provide support to the Head of Marketing & BD when you meet with partners to sign off work highlights, overview text and feedback sections, carry out follow up actions and obtain sign off on the final draft of each submission. You will then work with partners to collate referees, input data and check details and finally set up directory specific drafts. Other responsibilities of the Senior Marketing & Communications Executive will include working with the Senior Digital Marketing Specialist to co-ordinate input from partners and liaising with a 3rd party supplier in relation to the re-writing of the firm's website text, providing support to a client feedback project and assisting with a number high-value pitches by generating content, collating and re-writing track records and offering general administration help. The role holder will also support any plans and implementations of activities specifically related to content such as awards submissions, press stories, campaign content and firm wide newsletters.
You will have experience in general marketing and communications and have worked previously in a law firm where you gained experience of both directories and pitches. An energetic, self-motivated team player, you will have excellent IT, organisational and communication skills and be both accurate and thorough. It is essential that you are able to remain calm whilst working under pressure and adhering to tight and demanding deadlines and also possess the confidence to interact with people at all levels of the firm.
