Take your strong analytical thinking skills to this exciting role in the consumer/customer insight & analytics team of an incredibly dynamic technology-led success story in the healthcare sector, a business that has grown to over 1,000 people since 1998, supplying research tools and equipment to scientists in commercial and academic centres across the world from offices in the UK, US, China and Japan.  In this challenging role, you will lead the analysis and modelling of complex consumer and sales data – transforming this into insights that will catalyse growth across the business with new products and business initiatives that help the R&D and commercial teams to achieve their goals faster.  Working in a team of market research, market intelligence, data analyst and data scientist specialists, working together to solve novel and knotty questions, this is a superb opportunity to show your analytical flair and build your career in a true rapid growth environment with great promotional prospects.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Developing and managing a plan for consumer behavioural and segmentation data analysis and modelling to support the organisation’s decision making.
  • Data mining and statistical analysis to identify potential revenue opportunities.
  • Developing measures of consumer value to identify SWOTs for the business and support and challenge decision making.
  • Develop and implement models to direct and refine targeting to achieve commercial objectives.
  • Ensuring that data and recommendations are communicated effectively to key stakeholders.
  • Being the internal expert on the organisation’s data, segmentation, analysis and modelling to ensure the most appropriate and effective methods are used.

Our Ideal Candidate

Educated to degree level ideally in Statistics or Maths, you will have held a data analytical role delivering data management, customer insight and reporting solutions to large scale businesses.  You are able to perform deep, thorough analysis of complex customer data and have experience presenting complex data to stakeholders as well as mentoring other analysts. You have some experience with SQL and advanced Excel skills and ideally some experience with Tableau and Python or R.

A strong analytical and methodical thinker who is inquisitive with a keen eye for details, you will be driven by achieving goals and delivering results.  You will relish the challenge of joining a busy and dynamic team tasked with a key strategic role in the business.  Quick to learn and adaptable, you will become the ‘go to’ person, being seen as the technical expert in your area. The pace is fast and lively with heavy investment in product innovation and a huge commitment to delivering exceptional service to customers.  You will work alongside intellectually high powered and inspirational colleagues in a working environment that is collaborative, team-driven and fun, encouraging early responsibility empowering people to deliver results.

This is an excellent opportunity to make a role your own and have a significant impact on an exciting and dynamic business.  If you relish a challenge and are interested in this role, please e-mail your CV to Adam Tarsh now.
