We're recruiting on behalf of one of the major TMT players who are looking to appoint a Senior Propositions Manager into their Enterprise business division.

In this role you will be bringing together market and customer insight to create a compelling, customer-centric portfolio of propositions. Acting as the voice of the customer, ensuring any re-shaping of the portfolio meets specific needs and not just based on product and finance centric decision making.

You will be joining something that's established, but going through a complete overhaul and as such is offering a relatively green-field opportunity as they look to re-imagine their product suite to take advantage of the inclusion of new services they're able to offer following a major purchase recently.

Your core target base will be FTSE top 100 and 250 firms, building a range of propositions which will include things like managed services, fixed line and mobile services, networking, cloud services and lots more. It's a massive suite to play with and also therefore reflects a good degree of complexity too which needs simplifying for the customer, to understand the benefits of the solution rather than the technical in's and out's.

No matter the product line you take on, your remit will be to initially understand the needs and interests of specific customer types within the large enterprise market, looking at both industry specific needs, competitor offerings and broader market interests, then develop a range of scalable and repeatable solutions which meet those different sector and customer's requirements.

You will own everything from the business case through to the delivery, pulling together virtual teams from across the business to achieve the end goal. On top of this will be go-to-market, with you setting pricing strategies and margin management, key messaging and ensuring that's translated clearly with the sales force, as well as what the process and customer experience is excellent in execution too.

Role: Senior Propositions Manager - Telecoms, Large Enterprise
Location: London - can offer flexible working location too
Salary: £50,000 to £62,000
Benefits: ~£5k car allowance, 10% on target bonus, pension, healthcare, life assurance and blue-chip benefits package

Experience Required:

  • Experience of developing commercial solutions within the B2B technology and telecoms space which are scaleable and repeatable
  • Good knowledge of B2B technology eco-system which can be within IT managed services, end-user computing solutions, security solutions (firewalls, anti-virus, etc.), networking solutions, mobile or fixed line services - either developing propositions in this space, or as a re-seller where you've added vaue to base solutions provided by third party and been responsible for bringing them to market, managing their commercial success in-life
  • B2B Telco or IT service provider related sector experience is required
  • You have a keen eye for market and customer insight, how to utilise it to commercial advantage in the development of new propositions
  • A great commercial mindset - thinking in terms of customer need, pricing strategies, value and return.
  • Corporate/customer direct sales force environment - not one that's sold through contact centre operations
  • Comfortable presenting to prospective clients and acting as the subject matter expert (it's infrequent this will be needed, but it does happen)
  • Evidence of leading virtual teams in the delivery of new propositions/products to market
  • Got to have a reasonable technical knowledge and understanding of the technologies in this space
  • Must have the necessary visas to live and work in the UK - sponsorship cannot be provided.
