This Public Relations agency is looking for a great PR professional to join their Newbury office as a Senior PR Account Executive.
They are an award-winning B2B public relations consultancy, and they particularly specialise in working with business technology and professional firms (accountants, lawyers and management consultants) as well as financial services companies.
Their campaigns are focused on national newspapers, business magazines, broadcasters and also international business publications and typically have a strong current affairs flavour. They are noted for their "thought leadership" campaigns (and have received 4 national awards for these).
They are a great place to further your career, with a strong focus on development and training. They are especially suited for people who are serious about using their initiative, taking on greater responsibility and use their PR skills to the full.
They are particularly looking for ambitious PR professionals who want to quickly get to move to Account Manager.
The candidate they seek will be a hardworking, organised and dynamic person with at least 2 years' PR experience (most of it supporting financial, professional, business technology or similar B2B businesses).
Key requirements for this Public Relations account executive position:
They are looking for someone who is already an account executive (or press office equivalent) and is ready to progress their career by taking on more responsibilities as well as broadening their Public Relations and social media skills.
In addition, they are looking for candidates who also possess:
- Strong writing skills and a good head for numbers and statistics
- A sound knowledge of current political and business affairs
- Good experience of calling journalists to place stories
- Lots of experience using social media
- A "can do" attitude
- A strong commitment to improving their skills as a PR practitioner
While they believe strong PR skills (writing, news sense, press contacts, client management) are the cornerstone, you can also expect to pick up a range of skills around other important areas including SEO, website management, thought leadership, Hubspot inbound marketing software, and social media.
Monday to Friday - 9.00am - 5.30pm (with an hour for lunch)
