Situated within the Online team you will have in depth knowledge of current on-site and off-site SEO techniques. Working closely with the Marketing & Social team (and reporting to the SEM Manager) you will revisit the SEO strategy to re-inject natural search growth that will also reduce our dependency on paid traffic. This will include suggesting and implementing advanced level optimisation techniques to the website with a keen eye on site speed, backlinks, URL optimisation and mobile/tablet optimisation.
General responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Writing SEO recommendations, including technical SEO recommendations, template and keyword specific on-page SEO recommendations
Supports the outreach and content campaigns to ensure deadlines are met. Keyword research will identify trends and gaps.
Maintain a good understanding of the competitor environment and the available commercial opportunities as they arise.
Has a well rounded knowledge of SEO, utilises tools such as Hitwise, Moz and SEMRush to anticipate the strategies of competitors and look for market trends.
Produces regular performance reports and opportunities to gain extra visibility and market share. Produce strong analysis and commentary on activity and performance.
