Social Media Account Director, Manchester: £40 - 50K + excellent benefits
Our client is one of the most respected agencies in Manchester. Over the years they've grown consistently and built an outstanding reputation for their Creative and Innovative work on behalf of some of the UK's best known brands. In recent years they have built an effective Social Media offering which has won numerous industry awards and they are now looking to invest further in this function by bringing in a Social Media Account Director.
It's a varied and rewarding role which will be primarily responsible for driving the growth of the Social Media function, and training and mentoring the team. Specifically duties will include:
- Building relationships with key decision makers in both new and existing clients and demonstrating the agencies Social Media experience and track record.
- Presenting ideas to clients that will enhance their Social Media activities and securing the opportunity for the agency to deliver such services.
- Devising effective Social Media strategies for clients (including Paid) and then overseeing their implementation internally.
- Reporting back to clients on the effectiveness of Social Media campaigns and projects.
- Maintaining a keen interest in new social media channels and opportunities and presenting back to clients ideas on how they can best utilise these.
- Overseeing the on boarding of new clients and supporting the account management team.
