My client is a full-service marketing and advertising agency, who also publishes print and digital magazines, is recruiting for a Content and Social Media Manager. They have a very niche client audience, having established a strong presence in the agricultural sector.
The Content and Social Media Manager will be responsible for the following activities:
Website & App development
Design, illustration and animation
The company is looking to hire the Content and Social Media Manager to support a period of growth for the business, as the company focuses more strategically on content, then sharing and amplifying through the marketing channels. The business is in the process of becoming much more social media and content driven, which resulted in a 50% increase in turnover.
-Reporting into the Head of Media, you will work on strategic content creation/curation and social media engagement.
-Daily management of clients, including strategic planning and budgeting
-Leading conference calls via platforms including WebEx and Skype, due the international nature of the client base.
-Working with an interesting and international client base in the agricultural space, both in the UK, but also on a pan European bas is.
-Working with key content providers such as journalists, photographers and animators.
-You will ideally be experienced to account manager level or similar, with 3+ years' experience either working for a marketing/advertising agency, or in a similar role client-side.
-Strong experience in strategically working with content creation and social media, and familiarity with social media, content curation and analytics tools.
-Solid experience in some area of technical B2B is important as are good writing and proofing skills.
-An understanding of digital marcoms (websites, SEO, email campaigns) is desirable.
-Some experience of the agriculture sector would be beneficial but not essential.
-Proven client management skills and experience in planning and budgeting.
