Here at Flowcrete Group Ltd. we are looking for a Social Media Executive to join our in-house marketing team.
This role requires someone with a passion for social media and digital marketing, who’s comfortable being the online face of the brand and who is keenly interested in how social media platforms can be utilised to promote the company, our people and our products.
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead the global social media strategy for a well-established B2B business that has offices spanning six continents.
Based in our office in Sandbach, Cheshire, you will be tasked with managing Flowcrete’s social media presence, engaging with influencers, driving social media campaigns, monitoring our profiles, analysing the success of content and advising on how Flowcrete’s social media activity can be improved.
The ability to understand technical information and turn it into compelling content is central to this role, as is the skill to tailor that copy and content to different platforms, whether it’s Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube or Flowcrete’s blog (allthingsflooring.com). Armed with these skills you will test, measure and scale campaigns to drive awareness and conversions.
You will be working closely with the PR and Media Manager to ensure that the social media arm of Flowcrete’s content marketing cycle is the best that it can be. You will also be working in collaboration with Flowcrete’s global network of regional marketers to provide help and best practise advice.
The position offers a competitive salary that is dependent on experience.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
2 + years’ experience working in a social media, marketing, comms or PR role, ideally B2B.
Must have experience coordinating multiple social media accounts, particularly Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram.
Adept at social media management platforms (preferably Hootsuite).
Ability to analyse social media KPIs and to report on the impact of social media activity and competitor monitoring.
Experience developing and implementing social media content calendars.
Strong digital marketing skills – need to know your CMS from your SEO and your CTR from your CTA.
Knowledge of Google Analytics.
Strong copywriting skills and the ability to write in a casual, blog style as well as with a more corporate tone of voice.
Ability to engage with a defined target audience.
Strong proofreading skills.
Audience research skills.
Degree in a relevant field (marketing, journalism, social media, public relations or advertising).
Must be passionate about social media and willing to stay up to date with social media technologies and best practise.
Must have a creative mind-set and be willing to put forward new ideas.
You should be a collaboratively minded person that knows how to be a team player.
Being a fast thinker with a sense of urgency is important.
Provable problem solving and communication skills.
Being proactive and able to use own initiative.
Ability to understand complex product technologies.
