This exciting and rapidly growing FMCG Electronics company is looking for an experienced social media manager to continue the expansion of their online community.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, as Social Media Manager you'll be an instrumental figure in growing the brand and increasing stakeholder awareness. It's an exciting opportuntity for somebody that wants an exciting and fast paced enviornment with significant ability to progress with the company.

Duties of the Social Media Manager

  • Using keyword research, website data, business priorities and industry topics to formulate a content plan, in partnership with campaign owners.
  • Creating compelling and engaging on-brand digital content which will attract viewers as well as amplification and interaction through social sharing.
  • Performing ad-hoc SEO audits and analysis to validate the content plan and approach.
  • Acting as an in-house content expert who can advise internal stakeholders in online content and SEO best practice (e.g. course and product teams).
  • Responsible for the distribution of content via social media as well as third party sites, partners, influencers, bloggers etc.
  • Shaping and monitoring of the company’s online reputation and PR via owned and social media channels, including online reviews, tracking product/ brand mentions and sentiment.
  • Responsible for daily social media management and updates; writing and scheduling posts/ tweets and responding in a timely and appropriate manner.
  • Building a plan to grow the company’s online social community (followers, fans, blog readers, subscribers).
