Our client is one of the UK's largest symbol groups, with 2,500 convenience stores operating throughout the UK. They currently have an extremely exciting opportunity for a Social Media Manager to join their Marketing Team, helping their retailers thrive through the effective use of social media.

In the role, you'll drive membership usage of social media, rolling out localised Facebook business pages, conducting hands-on Facebook training to the team, and delivering ongoing best practice guides. Seeking to improve consumer reach and engagement through social platforms, you'll collaborate with the Senior Content Marketing Editor and suppliers to create and publish consistent and engaging content, effectively utilising the budget for growing Facebook Likes, Twitter followers, reach and engagement.

Measuring, protecting and improving their online reputation, you'll be tasked with implementing social media listening and publishing tools, defining and measuring social media KPIs, and analysing data to provide to stakeholders with ongoing actionable insights. You'll also define, develop and deliver presence for established platforms such as Twitter and YouTube, and will continually evaluate social media trends to ensure they're using the appropriate strategies, channels and tools. You'll even get the opportunity to experiment and develop business cases for emerging platforms!

They're looking for someone with demonstrable experience of working within a similar role. It goes without saying that you'll be skilled with social media tools and you'll have had experience of social media governance, content creation and campaign management. Although not essential, having appropriate qualifications would be a real bonus!

A creative thinker with excellent attention to detail, you'll have a talent for writing quality content and should have the ability to present and train in a truly engaging way. Oh, and you'll also be a real stickler for spelling!
