In recognition of this we are now seeking a Strategic Marketing and Media Manager and a Marketing and Media Officer to develop and deliver a cutting edge marketing, media and communications strategy for the Council, the district and the Shape Mendip partnership.
Strategic Marketing and Media Manager

Being dynamic and creative, you will have a strong track record of delivering return on investment in strategic and tactical marketing and communications. Credible and politically astute with the ability to see the big picture and seize opportunities, you will drive, develop and manage a proactive 24/7 media and marketing service that directly contributes to the delivery of our strategic priorities of Transformation and Inclusive Growth. Experience of effective management of a range of senior internal and external stakeholders is essential, as is a sound practical understanding of the merits of various media vehicles, including social media.
Marketing and Media Officer
£27,234 - £31,341
Proactive, with a finger firmly on the pulse of what is happening inside and outside the organisation, you will be key to delivering a cutting edge marketing and media service. With a strong track record in media relations, sound operational marketing experience and practical experience of implementing social and digital media strategies, you will work across services and partnerships to ensure the council’s reputation is enhanced and the priorities of the council are promoted and delivered.
