Working in a global law firm under the overall guidance of the Head of Strategic Marketing Initiatives, the Strategic Marketing Initiatives Manager will be responsible for raising the eminence and understanding of key firm strategic initiatives to existing clients, new targets and the wider market to deliver a return on investment.
Working with relevant partners and marketing and BD colleagues, the role holder will be responsible for developing robust plans aligned to the firm's strategy, with a clear value proposition, target market, best route to market, clear roles and responsibilities and measurable objectives and return on investment. Planning and co-developing commercial campaigns to take strategic initiatives to market, you will act as the champion of strategic initiatives with partners and clients team in order that they agree to take it to clients and ensure any contact is captured, leads are followed up and any feedback acted on, modifying plans if needed. The Strategic Marketing Initiatives Manager will also manage the activation of marketing to the wider market, proactively looking for and promptly leveraging relevant topical hooks which emerge during the campaign, ensure follow up, capture and monitoring of any leads and further opportunities and report on return on investment.
You must have a strong academic record, be robust, self-motivated and possess the ability to build trust and respect among colleagues. A team player with a can-do attitude and outstanding communication and influencing skills, it is essential that you have relevant experience in business development or account management gained whilst working in a professional services environment.
