Do you have an interest in retail and FMCG? I'm working on a lovely Temporary Category Controller position with a big name in the FMCG sector. It's a great opportunity to bolster your CV with a big brand and gain some incredibly strong experience, working on a leading retail account.
As Category Controller, this is a very customer communication focused role, along with regular liaison with a wide range of internal departments. The day to day includes a wide range of responsibilities which include the analysis and interpretation of item level performance to make recommendations for displays to the customer. You will project manage the display builds and collation of samples and product information for display set up. You will work closely with the Private Label Product Development, Product Marketing, Business Information teams & third party suppliers in order to make recommendations to ensure the account receives the most appropriate product ranges. Additionally you will be responsible for competitor and product trend analysis.
What We're Looking For:
To be considered for this role it would be great if you had some previous experience within a Category Management function. If not directly from this background it's important to be highly motivated with keen analytical and communication skills. Attention to detail and advanced Excel skills are required and you must possess the ability to work under pressure, with a flexible approach, and adapt to changing priorities in order to meet strict deadlines and performance standards in a demanding environment.
