A major UK media owner is launching a new data marketing business. This new entity will serve both internal and external clients and will have 3 key objectives:-
-Enable clients to deliver more effective marketing
-Derive greater value from the group's customer relationships
-Generate additional revenue for clients by monetising customer data
A dynamic Account Director with extensive experience in the CRM and direct marketing space is needed to roll out phase one of the new offering to existing members of the media group.
The Role & Responsibilities
We need someone with excellent Account Management skills gained in a dynamic digital and/or direct marketing environment to manage a portfolio of high profile brands and ensure delivery of the most effective return from data driven programmes across all channels from digital to print.
Your ability to create value for our businesses across the group and provide the highest level of client service will be the key to success.
You will have deep knowledge and practical experience of database driven CRM/ecrm marketing across different sectors, ideally gained within an agency environment.
You will need to be both marketing and commercially astute as all internal clients operate with different business models across both b2b and b2c.
As you would expect for a media business speed of delivery is taken for granted. So too is the ability to learn from your experiences.
Experience
-From data / direct marketing services business (ideally agency)
-From sectors where value creation via effective data marketing is recognised
-Proven multiple client management track record with different sized / sector clients
-Extensive campaign planning and execution across all channels with recognisable acquisition and retention achievement
Key Skills
-Strong communication - written and verbal
-Able to present with clarity the complex scenarios
-Strong interpersonal skills to deal with senior contacts and navigate any internal politics
-Persuasive and able to sell' the idea
-Commercially astute and results orientated - campaign ROI literate
-Able to evaluate results and use findings to contribute to business direction/objectives
