Job Description

Great opportunity for a data and media savvy Account Director to join leading independent marketing agency and manage a portfolio of key accounts.

Primary role for the Account Director is to take responsibilty for developing and maintaining successful client relationships through service and delivery of insight led on and offline marketing campaign, that exceed client expectations.

Key duties:-
Build and maintain excellent relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
Fully understand client objectives, targets and budgets and deliver against these
Challenge/influence client briefs and offer solutions to develop business direction
Develop existing business by seeking out opportunities within allocated accounts to enhance profitability
Manage strategic direction of all allocated accounts
Provide effective client communication, including regular meetings and presentations of plans, taking client calls/e-mails, advising on marketing solutions and strategic direction, taking briefs, dealing with queries both internally and externally.
Rationalise and present strategic direction across all accounts
Manage research, planning, execution and evaluation of campaigns across all media channels (digital, direct mail, door to door, press, radio, outdoor, TV, etc).
Liaising with colleagues across the business, including analytics and operational teams to ensure successful planning and implementation of all campaigns.
Lead account teams to deliver against client objectives
Maintain a high level of knowledge with regards specific media channels, industry research tools, the macro media/marketing industry and specific client industries (e.g. insurance).

Key skills:-
Of primary importance is a deep knowledge in insight driven strategies for customer acquisition and retention - profiling, modelling, segmentation, cross sell, up sell, churn, market sizing, cold and warm integration/database recommendations
