SUMMARY OF ROLE
Research, identify, progress and close profitable new business opportunities to agreed targets. Upholding the highest levels of professionalism at all times developing the team to build a high quality pipeline of future business.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1*Working with the Head of Business Development to implement the Sales strategy for the business
*Working in agreed vertical market sectors, research and develop qualified New Business Opportunities for the New Business Team to exploit, managing people:
oTelephone and desk based research into agreed markets
oIdentifying opportunities for current and future Event activity
oContacting target organisations to establish budget holding and decision making structures
oEstablishing initial credentials, introductions and meetings
*Leading major sales pitches, attending New Business meetings and develop pipeline accounts
*Working to established reporting procedures and client service levels at all times
2Adhering to all ISO processes and procedures
3Working to established reporting procedures and client service levels at all times.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED IN ROLE
1Wealth of corporate sales experience in a relevant sector
2Exposure to event / marketing agency experience
