Marketing Executive/Product Marketing Manager - Publishing
Based in Maidenhead
Basic to £24,000, plus 25 days holiday and flexible benefits
Global publishing business which has been established over a century is looking to expand their marketing function in their Head Office by recruiting a new marketer into their thriving business. As a US business, this company sell, market and distribute over 1000 titles a year serving a variety of markets.
They are looking to recruit driven individuals who want to build their career in a company that sets the standard for excellence in information services and analysis. In addition, as a business that embraces the work/life balance, they look to reward and give incentives to individuals looking to advance themselves.
The Role:
Working within the educational publishing arm, this position embraces the full marketing mix, with the key focus of promoting new books to the market within a set budget.
The role will involve:
Promotions and DM Campaigns
Conference planning and budgeting
Work alongside designers to create promotional items
Budget planning
Marketing Launches
Liaise with key account teams on bookshop promotions and displays
Create marketing plans
Skills needed:
Personality and drive are crucial components for this role for the right individual, combined with experience in a marketing position. An interest within the publishing world is an advantage as is an academic business qualification.
