Marketing Co-ordinator

Our client is a leading consumer magazine publisher going through an exciting phase of growth and development.  They are now seeking a Marketing Co-ordinator to support the Marketing Executive in achieving newsstand sales across a portfolio of titles.  This individual will contribute to the development of the consumer marketing and promotional plans, and implement marketing promotions, trade activity and PR to deadlines and within specified budgets.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Marketing Executive to create and implement marketing and promotional plans for specific titles within the group.
  • Liaise with the Editorial team to manage the marketing messaging on magazine covers.
  • Contribute to gift development, ensuring all gifts are on brand and age appropriate.
  • Generate innovative competition and special offer concepts to drive entries and sales. Manage all competition and promotion mechanics, including sourcing product, copy and visuals, fulfilment of prizes and approvals.
  • Maintain relevant marketing schedules, individual title budgets and administrative systems.
  • Raising purchase orders, coding and processing of invoices, and recording project costs against budget provision.

Requirements:

  • - Degree level qualification or equivalent
  • - Marketing experience, ideally within consumer publishing, or an agency or media environment
  • - Evidence of the ability to organise, schedule and manage time effectively across a number of projects
  • - High standard of accuracy and attention to detail with excellent written and oral English
  • - Experience of analysing and presenting data
  • - Good creative skills
  • - A sound knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
