Job Description

Head of Digital - North West

Our client is a leading full service agency in the north West and they are expanding and looking to recruit a high calibre Head of Digital to join the business.

You will be responsible for managing, developing and inspiring the digital team to provide innovative and quality digital solutions. They are looking for an inspirational Digital leader who will be able to autonomously shape their digital service offer and provide vision for the future.

As the Head of Digital your responsibilities will include:
* Scoping and planning online client projects facilitating any necessary research and providing analysis in order to prepare creative and technical colleagues with accurate and fit for purpose briefs.
* Ensuring digital projects are delivered within agreed timescales and in accordance with internal budgets and resources, maximising profitability.
* Working with the Account Director to develop ROI focused online marketing strategies for clients, which enhance brand presence.
* Recruit, manage and train direct reports.
* Identify, recommend and manage relationships with external suppliers relevant to client requirement - e.g. freelance designers & developers, search, social media, email providers.
* Monitor industry developments ensuring that the digital service offer remains at the forefront of technological advances - making recommendations to the board of directors as to potential areas of investment and where we can add value to the client base.
* To interface with the creative director, the studio and account management teams to ensure clear and effective lines of communication between client requirement and creative delivery.
* Contribute to strategic proposals, design concepts and rationale to clients in line with company presentation standards.
* Preparation and attending new business meetings and/or pitches where appropriate.
