My client is a leading, east Oxfordshire based, technology agency providing marcoms solutions to a raft of blue chip clients. They are growing fast and there is a great agency vibe and atmosphere. Due to continued growth they are looking for an experienced account director to drive their business forward. The main reponsibilities are:
To own the agency’s relationship with allocated clients, and to represent the agency's professionalism and values at all times.
To ensure that revenue from allocated accounts is maximised through a proactive approach to account planning and relationship development.
To ensure that deliverables from the studio exceed client expectations and the agency's quality expectations, through the thorough understanding of client requirements and the quality of communication to the studio.
To ensure that all projects are delivered on time and on budget, and to achieve profitability targets for each account.
To become a “trusted advisor” to managed clients.
To maintain quarterly account plans for allocated clients.
To work with the Director of Client Services to develop new business opportunities.
To be confident to make first contact via telephone with qualified prospects and to be able to present the agency's proposition, personality and values in initial face to face meetings.
To take part in brainstorming sessions to assist the studio in delivering appropriate creative concepts.
To maintain the status of all active jobs within the internal job tracking system.
To manage issues that arise, and escalate those issues that cannot be managed, to the appropriate member of staff, in a timely and professional manner.
