The Company
Young Media company based in Surrey, specialising in Media planning and buying seek an outgoing Media Assistant to support their Account Managers and Directors.
The Role
You will be responsible for providing full support to the Account Managers and the team whilst learning 'on the job'. You will provide excellent customer service to all clients and customers.
Day to day Duties to include;
Maintenance of specific client accounts
Research of media opportunities, and notification of it to the client by letter and email.
Production of media schedules and media appraisals/recommendations,
Generating deals and special offers for the good of the business and the client.
General administration duties to ensure that all deadlines are met, buying rates are competitive and that optimum working practice and ethics are maintained at all times.
You will also be responsible for ensuring that all ISO standards practised by the company are mirrored within your daily work. And shared responsibility with the other media execs for emailing of orders to sales houses and vouching of national press newspapers.
The Candidate
You will be a hardworking, enthusiastic and imaginative individual with excellent verbal and written communication skills coupled with an excellent command of the English language. Able to work unsupervised, you will be eager to learn and develop your skills within the industry. IT literacy essential.
The Package
up to £18,000 + benefits after qualifying period
