A recruitment advertising agency is looking for a studio manager to join their Birmingham team. You will be expected to effectively lead and manage the regional studio, taking responsibility for the quality of artwork output and ensuring an efficient and cost effective studio resource.
You will be responsible for the line management of the studio team, ensuring that all artwork is produced to a high standard, on time and to budget. You will also be working closely with the client services team and will be expected to manage a project from initial briefing to final production. You will also need to look after a portfolio of freelancers.
You will be working alongside the Studio Manager in London to ensure a consistent and efficient Studio function across the business and will be expected to hold regular team meetings to keep everyone updated. You may also be expected to attend client meeting and presentations.
Well-developed Macintosh skills, including QuarkXpress, Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator are essential.
Knowledge of web build and design is a bonus. You must have experience of managing a team and a good creative awareness. An understanding of repro and print processes is also essential.
