Associate Director of Bridges (Rail/Highways bridge design exp)
Based in Scotland
Salaries range from £48,000 - £58,000 + An Excellent Benefits Package
My client is a leading civil engineering design consultancy specialising in the highways and rail sector offering infrastructure services to both the public and private sector.
Due to successfully securing some recent tenders, my client is currently looking for an ambitious Associate/Associate Director who is also a proven work winner to lead the bridges team in Scotland and help drive the company forward by further developing the growing bridge engineering team and help assist in business development and securing future tenders within bridges division.
The Role:
·Provide leadership and supervision of the Bridges and Rail structures team.
·Provide technical expertise in the design and assessment of bridges and other rail related structures.
·Manage multi-disciplinary design teams involved in bridges, stations, tunnels and other rail related structures.
·Assist in business development and growing the team.
The Requirement:
·Chartered Engineer
·Good understanding of design management and proven ability of managing multidisciplinary design teams.
·Proven work winner
·Proven skills in the design and assessment of bridges.
·Experience in the design of transportation/rail structures.
·Ability and personal commitment to lead a team of engineers.
·Excellent communication skills.
