A rare opportunity for an outstanding B2B marketing professional

 

 

Oval Limited is a highly successful, rapidly growing Insurance Broking,

Risk Management and Financial Services group which provides advice to Corporate and Private Clients.

 

Since our formation in 2003 we have created a national organisation with over 30 offices throughout the UK, employing 1300 people. Our annualised turnover is circa £100m.

We are growing by acquiring strong regional brokers and through organic new business growth. Since 2003 we have acquired 29 businesses and we intend to continue our strategy of rapid growth. The environment is fast paced, exciting (and demanding), with an open and honest approach to leadership and communications. We are very results/achievement focused.

To help us achieve our ambitions we wish to recruit an outstanding individual to lead our Group Marketing and Communications team.

 

The key purpose of the role is to provide leadership and strategic input to all marketing and internal communication activities across the group and drive delivery. It is a high profile and influential role, and the successful candidate will join Oval’s ambitious Executive Management team.

 

The role is a broad one encompassing responsibilities for supporting organic new business growth, brand development, raising the company profile at a national and local level, assisting the integration of acquired businesses, driving value from the company’s CRM system, and delivering successful internal communications to engage employees across the group.

 

To be successful you will have the stature, intellect and robust character to influence at all levels. With a strong marketing and communications background in a B2B Service Sector, you will also have a pragmatic ’hands-on’ approach, motivated to increase sales revenue and profitability. Experience of people management and of a branch network is essential. It is desirable that you have experience of operating effectively in a matrix structure.

 

Particular expertise in internal communications will also be very helpful.

The post will be based at our picturesque Tollerton office, near Nottingham, although the successful applicant will be expected to travel throughout the UK.  The salary and benefits package will be commensurate with the seniority of the role.
