Our digital communications agency client is looking to bring on board a Business Manager to join their CEO office. This role will involve acting as the CEO’s ‘right hand man’, negotiating resources to fulfill business requirements and assisting in the delivery of the business plan for the business. They are looking for someone who really understands things in both a business management and marketing context.
The CEO generates many actions from meetings attended and the role of the Business Manager will be to ensure these actions are executed, leaving the CEO to continue building the momentum necessary to achieve the business plan. This will involve:
- Conducting research / situation analysis
- Writing proposals / marketing plans
- Producing presentation materials
- Communicating delivery of actions to the other parts of the business
- Ensuring the timely delivery of actions
- Acting as a liaison between the CEO and other departments
- Reporting on activities, time and budget allocations.
The right candidate for this role will be of graduate calibre with five+ year experience in marketing, account management or a service industry, three years of which must include working in online marketing and managing blue-chip relationship within a digital agency. You must have the ability to work with and influence senior client stakeholders to board level and have strong team management and leadership skills. You will be confident, ambitious and energetic, with initiative and a persuasive manner.
