Job Description

Events Marketing Executive

Are you a marketing executive looking for a new challenge? Can you produce and manage campaigns that sell? Do you have the ideas, creativity, energy and passion for events marketing that we need?

Here's your opportunity to join a fast-moving research and training business with customers in over 90 countries and offices in London, Washington DC and Sydney.

We're looking for a self-starter to join our events team, who will be responsible for planning and fulfilling marketing campaigns across various media. You'll be part of a small team working closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to ensure the company meets revenue and delegate targets for all of our conferences and training courses.

Being an action-oriented person who is used to getting new ideas off the ground, you'll challenge assumptions and strive for the very highest standards. You'll be degree educated and have a minimum of 2 years' events marketing experience in a business-to-business environment.

You'll also need:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
  • Good copywriting skills;
  • Database experience;
  • Exceptional organisational skills;
  • Experience of working within a team environment;
  • Focus and drive;
  • Good knowledge of professional social networks such as Twitter and Linkedin;
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills;
  • Experience liaising with external suppliers, partners and industry associations;
  • Strong IT skills, especially in Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Strong sense of initiative;
  • The ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and to strict deadlines.

You'll be rewarded with a competitive salary, uncapped bonus, great training, your own projects to manage, and a terrific opportunity to develop.

If you think you've got what it takes to be a success in this role, please send your CV, with a covering letter explaining why you're right for this role.
