Job Description

Head of CRM & Data Monetization
Leading Consumer Media Company
London

Our client is one of the worlds leading consumer media companies. A
customer centric company focused on delivering outstanding branded content
across multiple platforms, they are looking to recruit a Head of CRM & Data Monetization. The
role will be to ensure that the use of customer data sits at the heart of
the business.  Core responsibility will be to ensure that all data sources,
processes and uses are used within a legal framework and support the wider
company business objectives. You will lead work with the legal, digital and
consumer sales & marketing teams in the pursuit of well managed legal data
collection and revenue opportunities.  

Key responsibilities
* Champion the use of data and drive through the change management
needed within the business to ensure the company buys into the full
potential of the database.
* Work alongside the Head of Database Marketing to ensure
that the architecture of the database matches the needs of the commercial
arm of the business and that processes are efficient across the business
* To influence the data strategy and ensure there is constant
improvement within data planning and processes, and that data housekeeping
is best in class.
* Work with the legal & digital teams to ensure that the company and
their suppliers are working with legal and proper use of data at all times
* Be the link with the advertising teams and help develop rate cards
that drive revenues for the data sales proposition.
* Create clear communication paths between local publishing teams and
the central marketing department on the flow of data around the business
* Understand the Customer Lifetime Value Strategy and create data
processes to support the drive towards a new third revenue stream, increased
customer loyalty and profitability.

Skills and Experience
* Significant CRM data and database experience from a media
environment.
* Track record of monetizing data and hitting commercial targets.
* Excellent influencing and persuasion skills and experience at
working in a matrix structure influencing peer departments and senior
executives.
* Strong people management skills.
* Excellent project management skills.
* Strong analytical skills and ability to retain and convey detailed
information
