Marketing Executive, London Business School

 

 

MBA Programme

The position


This role will help to develop and implement communications and integrated marketing campaigns on different targeted initiatives. Responsibilities will include:-

• Devising and carrying out internal market research with Students and Alumni to help with positioning, targeting and choice of marketing mix.

• Attend selected UK & international MBA promotional events

• Develop marketing presentations for use in UK and international promotional events

• Working with the Marketing Manager and external agencies on market research projects

• Timely production of well positioned promotional materials including –
• Selecting design and print providers
• Copywriting, editing and proofreading
• Use of Email Reaction email software to produce targeted promotional emails and newsletters
• Contribution to website content
• Contribution to management of Student Blog
• Contribution to management of Online events

The department

 

 

The MBA Office is responsible for the design, delivery and development of the MBA; its marketing, selection and admission of students. The department has over 30 people who are grouped in two main teams: Marketing & Admissions and Programme Management.  The MBA has revenue targets of c£16million per year and recruits c375 students annually. Classes are made up of 50+ nationalities, typically selected from 2000+ applicants, from 90+ countries.  The office is a busy and demanding place to work. While team working is the norm, all members of the office are also encouraged and expected to take the lead in their areas of responsibility and to contribute elsewhere in the office and school as appropriate.

 

 

The individual


The successful candidate will be a graduate with relevant work experience in a professional services environment and desirably, a marketing qualification such as CIM / IDM.  You will be a team player with excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to prioritise and meet demanding deadlines. Some travel will be involved, as you will be required to make presentations at overseas events to prospective students and companies
