A leading data services agency is seeking a Pre-Sales Consultant with knowledge of Direct Marketing / Database Marketing / Marketing Analytics services.
Reporting to the Sales Director, you will be required to play a key role in delivering pre-sales and technical expertise for the company's data marketing services offering.
As part of the Pre-Sales team, you will provide essential technical expertise to support the Sales team and win business from new and existing customers.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
· Working alongside Account Managers and Analysts, you will be involved in all technical aspects of the Sales cycle. The role requires a highly communicative, self motivated, energetic individual with a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, flexibility, and data services expertise.
· Provide pre-sales consultancy advice to drive new product sales (emphasising digital marketing solutions), and assist Partners in their sales and new business
· Prepare, run, and speak at industry events using your technical expertise
· Understand market evolution, trends and positioning against competitors.
REQUIREMENTS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Marketing data services Pre-Sales experience.
· Knowledge or experience in one of the following: Marketing Analytics, Database Marketing, Email and Campaign Management
· Able to demonstrate the value of interactive data based marketing solutions within a multi-channel marketing organization.
· Expertise in the interactive and direct marketing industries, especially the integration of online and offline channels and data sources.
· Experience in marketing automation and/or Business Intelligence tools such as Unica, SAS, MicroStrategy, Business Objects, Cognos or SQL
· Strong presentation experience.
· Proven relationship development and management experience.

SALARY - £50k - £65k plus benefits
