This leading direct marketing services company is looking to recruit a Senior Account Manager who will be the link between customer requirements and their programming resource. The Account Handler is responsible for managing the delivery of data projects to clients. This is a critical role, ensuring that their services are delivered professionally and within timeframes.
Role Responsibilities:
- Act as operational point of contact for internal clients
- Gain a clear understanding of client requirements, documenting these using standard briefing processes
- Ensure quality of work by checking reports as job progresses and feeding this information back to the client
- Provide support to the sales team in new business and up-sell opportunities
- Identify opportunities to improve existing processes in terms of efficiency, cost and time
- Prepare and provide quotations, ensuring that charges cover all costs incurred
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of client data and data processing requirements
- Research and resolve any data or data processing issues according to customer specification
Candidates for this role must have experience of the direct marketing industry, preferably in the area of client services delivery in a data processing environment. This is a non technical role but it requires an understanding of how marketing objectives can be achieved via data processing activity. You will need to be familiar with core data processing concepts, such a deduplication and suppressions and to have an understanding of data manipulation tools.
