Data Analyst
Duties of this role will include -
· Analysing the effectiveness of marketing campaigns - In particular looking at response rates, conversion rates, trends and ROI.
· Looking at online behaviour on the company websites
· Improving the segmentation and profiling of our client base
· Deepening the understanding of our customers so that we can best fulfil their travel requirements.
You will need to have a degree in Maths or Statistics and be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of applicable statistical techniques and data mining principles (e.g. CHAID / PWE).
Knowledge of a major commercial statistical analysis / data mining package would be an advantage. The ability to communicate statistical insights to business managers, conveying the business value of derived insights in non-technical language, is essential.
In addition to the required technical capabilities the successful candidate will be expected to have an inquiring mind and a desire to follow their own lines of investigation to unearth actionable insights.
This role represents a superb opportunity for the right candidate to have a significant influence over the future direction of this company's customer interaction strategy and to work with business managers to define metrics and reporting methodologies. Full training on the company's data analysis tools will be provided.
Experience in the following would be desirable for this role - - AS400
- Direct marketing
- Major commercial data analysis packages such as SPSS, SAS, FastStats etc
- Exporting data & producing reports from web statistics packages
- Worldwide travel experience
