Our client was established in 1985 and is one of Britain's most respected independent market research organisations. They have a varied mix of clients in both the consumer and business to business markets and carry out research projects on behalf of public bodies throughout the country.Due to continued success we require an exceptional person to head the research team and join the senior management team.

THE ROLE

Reporting to the Board of Directors, you will have overall responsibility for the research team and your duties will include to:

provide line management support, coaching and advice
identify and address areas for team and process improvement
support and undertake client handling activities
be involved in new business development opportunities and drive related activities
work with the Senior Management Team and Board on developing the future strategy of the business.

THE PERSON

You will have a solid and varied research background, preferably including agency and client-side involvement, and knowledge of a range of methodologies and client types.You will have line management and people development experience, be commercially aware and have excellent interpersonal skills.
