About the Client
A mobile communications company based along the M4 corridor has an opening for a Market and Competitive Intelligence Manager who will support the sales and marketing teams in product, proposition and retention strategies.
About the Role
The role will take responsibility for@
Ensuring the sales and marketing teams are equipped with insights necessary to formulate successful product and proposition offer.
Ensure the day to date competitive environment is clearly understood and the competitive insight is driving trading improvements.
Ensure the whole business is equipped with timely and strategic and tactical market intelligence to support decision making.
Partner with key suppliers to develop insights on a project and programme basis.
Explore new approaches into intelligence generation and dissemination
Support decision making with analysis (qualitative and quantitative) on competitor moves and future strategies in all market sectors
Provide timely updates on relevant market developments, new products, trends and major changes.
What We’re Looking For
Outstanding communication and relationship building skills
In depth understanding of the UK mobile market and competitive dynamics
Supplier management experience
Self starter able to lead growth in understanding in this field
Ability to work effectively in a time pressured environment
Strong teamship – enjoys working as part of a cross functional team
Experience of using/leveraging Competitor Intelligence (CI) in an operational/channel environment
