Business Development Account Manager
Here’s your opportunity to join a fast moving publishing and events company with customers in over 90 countries and offices in London, Chicago and Sydney.
You’ll be working as part of a small team calling existing blue-chip clients/prospects to grow our existing members of our online community (known as the Internal Comms Hub) into group members. As well as being able to up-sell a portfolio of Melcrum products wherever the opportunity, you will need to be able to recognise what the client needs and offer them a solution.
You’ll be highly articulate, able to explain clearly and succinctly the benefits of becoming/remaining a group member, answer any questions customers have, sign them up and take payment details. You’ll have a willingness to succeed, flexibility to learn, good attention to detail and excellent time management skills. You’ll also be an enthusiastic self-starter, who’s not afraid to ask questions and get results.
You will also be required to make a minimum of 3 client visits a week so face to face sales, presentation skills and the ability to travel are a must. Applicants are required to have previous experience in a business development or sales based account management role.
Good work never goes un-noticed, with continuous incentives and rewards…and the odd bottle of wine! Hours are 9:15-5:30 and you will start with 20 days holiday with 1 day for every year worked thereafter (not too shabby!).
You will be sociable (we all enjoy a drink or 2) with excellent communication skills and the ability to work hard under your own initiative and as part of a team.
