Research Manager/ Senior Research Executive - London £30K- 40K.

They are responsible for planning and buying the advertising for some of the world?s biggest companies: Volkswagen, GlaxoSmithKline, The Metropolitan Police, Mars and Universal Pictures to name a few. Their work directly informs and shapes their clients? marketing strategies.
The Role
The successful candidate will be rewarded with an exciting and diverse role. The role involves dealing with a variety of internal and external clients, as well as members of the public in consumer groups and interviews so suits a person who enjoys interaction and communication. You will be responsible for running bespoke qualitative projects. You will also have the assistance of three graduate research executives and therefore the ability to develop talent in others is essential.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience
A genuine passion for finding out what makes consumers tick
? A strong interest in media and marketing
? Previous exposure to qualitative research : this does not necessarily need to have been first hand moderating but this will help
? Ability to start with a volume of qualitative research output and drill down to the key salient points
? Project management experience - well organised and time efficient Word and PowerPoint at a good level plus basic Excel skills
? Previous people management experience : an ability to develop others who may be more junior
Desirable
? Hands on qualitative experience : running discussion groups and interviews with consumers and writing reports based on the findings
? Understanding of the industry?s media research tools
? Ability to come up with head turning research solutions which will change a client?s business
? Equally comfortable working with those more senior and those more junior
? Self starter
