Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated New Product Development manager to join one of the best known food brands in Britain.

Experience in people management is a must, with an astute knowledge of the technical processes behind NPD to take and quantify the development briefs and turn them into something tangible.

This is thoroughly challenging role within a great company that puts huge emphasis into its innovation and technical aptitude. If youre an experienced senior NPD manager this is a superb opportunity.

A household name in quality food products, our client are looking to double their profitability over the next few years and need the best employees to do this. A traditional, family company but with massive ambition- they are looking for people who can really make a difference.

-The Role-


To take control of all technical aspects of the NPD process and lead a team of 10 to deliver products that meet the high standards of the company.
Be the face of NPD for the company, both to other divisions and also the wider market in discussions with the multiples and suppliers. Championing the insights of the team and being the figurehead of NPD.
Leading the development teams in the creation and updating of new products while adding to the wider success of the organisations brand.

-The Candidate-

*FMCG food experience
*Degree level in food science
*several years experience in a senior development position
* Exemplary interpersonal and social skills
* Developing relationships throughout the macro environment and passionate about the products.
*To have a can-do, hands on experience
*creativity, problem solving and great organisation skills.
*Business perspective in possessing a strong knowledge of how operations fit within the overall company strategy.
