Job Description
A unique green field opportunity has arisen with a major financial institution as a Head of Product Development. This senior level appointment will be in charge of the development of a new proposition directorate for the company working on Life and Pensions propositions.
The company is a major global player in the financial world and is looking for a highly experienced and successful individual from the Life & Pensions arena to join them.
This position will manage their existing portfolio of propositions, update and improve them for increased market penetration; and from an operational and strategic standpoint, increase the overall proposition portfolio to provide a positive point of differentiation to competitor offerings and gain market share.
You must be a highly experienced individual in Product Management, with a very strong track record of commercial success and experienced in Life &/or Pensions Products.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
* Solid, senior level experience within Product Management/Development within Life &/or Pensions Products
* Highly successful track record of developing and implementing commercial products into channels, managing their life-cycle and tweaking key value drivers to ensure commercial success
* Strong man-manager, experienced in managing and leading commercial product teams
* Experienced at competitor benchmarking and modifying propositions to react to market activities/sensitivities to improve market penetration and overall commercial success
* Experienced in interacting and influencing successfully at C level and general management
