Wilson Miller Resourcing require a dynamic, professional and proven Marketing Communications Manager to work within a global team providing communications for a major global initiative to drive awareness of technical support services amongst customers, channel and our clients own business development and field marketing managers within a global team.
Our client is a major global leader in the networking and communications sector offering leading edge, emerging technologies and solutions worldwide.
The role
To work within the technical services organisation of our client within global team
To lead the communications program for the service support manager strategy including planning and development, championing the strategy to key stakeholders
To build effective working relationships with internal stakeholders, gaining buy-in for the communications materials that will be developed.
To gain clear feedback from stakeholders in order to ensure that future communications materials meet their evolving needs.
To manage website content and updates, providing content and centralise monthly reporting
To localise, deploy and measure the impact of marketing communications compiling monthly reports and making recommendations for future activities (metrics)
To report to the Services Field Enablement Manager
To work for Wilson Miller Resourcing, one the UKs leading providers of outsourced marketing communications professionals, and based within our client company.
Initial contract to 31st July 2009. Extension subject to performance and client strategic planning
Salary £38,000 - £47,000 per annum pro rata
22 days paid holiday per annum pro rata
The person
Background and Experience
The successful candidate will:
Have proven and demonstrable business to business marketing communications, some of which must have been in the technology or telecommunications sectors and in a blue chip, corporate environment.
Have proven project management skills
Have experience in, and knowledge of, measuring campaign results in order to demonstrate ROI
Have a proven ability to drive projects forward in a rapidly changing environment with a strong emphasis on virtual team working and conference call meetings
Have a proven ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders, operating effectively in a heavily matrixed organisation
Experience working within a global team for a large corporate company based in the US would be an advantage
Be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
