Up to £30,000 per annum + benefits
On behalf of our client we are seeking a highly motivated Marketing Communications Executive responsible for developing and agreeing marketing plans with key stakeholder, then to implement and successfully execute these plans. To own the whole marketing strategy to drive the business forward.
Our client is a young and ambitious software company who have developed a market leading business intelligence product for a variety of global clients.
The Role
• To understand the marketing communications requirements of the business
• Development of channel and direct marketing plan
• Define and implement market research
• Execution of plans including production of marketing material
• Manage website, including SEO and use of web advertising including PPC
• Manage use of PR Agency
• Plan, implement and running of marketing events and exhibitions
• Design advertising campaigns where appropriate
• To regularly monitor the progress and success of each campaign
• Work with partners on joint marketing campaigns
• Manage use of marketing development funds with partners
• Maintain the CRM systems
• Attend regular meetings
The Person
• Experience of managing a variety of Marketing Communications campaigns within a similar software related business
• Understanding of marketing communications delivery and agency relationship management
• Demonstrable experience of managing successful marketing communications campaigns, to timescales and budgets
• Experience of supporting channel sales would be beneficial
• Comprehensive understanding of B2B marketing
• Well versed in preparing and editing promotional literature, along with planning and implementing DM and EDM campaigns
• Proven experience of online marketing and website content management
• Market research is highly desirable
• Excellent communications skills
• A creative thinker
• Confident person
