Our client is a UK based professional lighting solutions provider. It has grown rapidly over the last few years and is now a member of the largest conglomerates in the sector.
The company believe that their continued success will come from our investment in products and people and as a result are looking to recruit an outstanding marketing professional to help retain and grow the customer base.
The marketing manager would be responsible for promoting the products, services and brand to customers and employees. They should be able to work with the senior management team to develop and implement the marketing strategy. They would use various marketing strategies (such as catalogues direct mail, websites and promotional events) to communicate the corporate message.
Typical tasks would include:
·Planning and delivery of marketing strategy
·Ensuring that campaigns run to deadline and on budget
·Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of strategies and campaigns
·Identification of new product requirements, and launch strategy
·Organising the production of brochures and websites
·Organising exhibitions and CPD road shows
·Managing a team of marketing assistants.
·Researching and analysing market trends
·Analyses and communication of pricing trends
·Identifying target markets and how best to reach them.
The Person
Ideally you will have a marketing or business-related qualification, but more important will be your hands on approach to management and ability to communicate effectively across the organisation.
·The Marketing Manager will ideally have related lighting or electrical product experience or knowledge of the construction industry.
