Our client is looking to recruit a Marketing Copywriter to manage the collateral content on and off line. The successful candidate will produce and maintain copy and creative by-lines for web pages, email campaigns, social media, whitepapers, PR, Blogs, advertising and sales collateral.
The Marketing Copywriter will write interesting and unique content which will build the brand awareness in the B2B environment. You will also be responsible for supporting sales by attracting and engaging decision makers through on/off line media.
Role and responsibilities:
Responsible for keeping all the day-to-day content fresh, relevant and on brand 100%. Making sure that the target markets are being attracted to Cobweb and engaging both on/off line.
Responsible for promotional communications to existing customers by writing, editing and publishing the content to support the published communications calendar.
Supporting the website lead in delivering high organic search engine rankings for relevant keywords and phrases (SEO), by creating, implementing and optimising website copy.
Develop collateral and promotional material with all new and refreshed product launches and timelines.
Manage the social media presence, ensuring the content is performing, up-to-date, on brand and achieving KPI's.
Using your journalistic skills, you will interview relevant people in the business to create technical content that can be used both for PR and online.
Skills and experience
HND/Foundation Degree in Marketing, Media, English or equivalent
English Lit/Lang GCSE A-B
Work experience in a fast paced and pro-active marketing environment with experience of managing content across different channels in a B2B environment
Good copywriting skills
Social media skills - Technical knowledge of Linked-In, Twitter, YouTube and Blogs
