Account Executive
Oxford
Salary - £20,000 - £25,000
A highly successful full service agency is looking for a hard working and enthusiastic individual to assist the Senior Account Manager. You will need to have excellent written and inter-personal communication skills, be highly organised and able to think in an innovative and creative manner. You will have the ability to prioritise and work under pressure, alone and as part of a team.
You are likely to have a degree in media studies, English or a related subject or hold a CAM Diploma. You may have gained some work experience in a public relations consultancy/in-house public relations department, but this is not a requirement. More important is evidence of your commitment to a career in PR, coupled with some innate writing ability and an understanding of the business environment.
You will support the account handling teams and participate in the day-to-day handling of client accounts, under the direction of the Senior Account Manager.
You will organise and implement all relevant aspects of client work and administration to the standard required by the consultancy and its trade association and in accordance with the prescribed quality and financial procedures.
As part of your responsibilities you will be required to keep the Account Directors, Senior Account Managers and Account Managers fully briefed on all account activity and related issues.
