Job Description

The Global Senior Account Manager is a dedicated digital professional. They will be supported by senior agency management in global team and cluster leads.  They are the Single Point of contact for a group of clients in the Global Marketing Activation team in London.  The Global Senior Account Manager - Activation isresponsible for managing, coordinating and leading Agency resources in order to meet Clients needs. In this role, the Global Senior Account Manager - Activation has overall responsibility for Agency output and provides perspective and leadership in the development of quality solutions. The Global Senior Account Manager - Activation is a digital specialist familiar with all existing and emerging digital channels. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Drive the activation of key campaigns mobilising internal agency teams and managing the client relationship to ensure the client plans are developed

Work with their global account director to ensure the global campaign architecture and guidance is delivered and understood by the team

Drive the Activation planning process across assigned client and agency teams

Be accountable for the above

Identify, evaluate and monitor effective marketing venues.

Direct the development of both the marketing and communication plans.

Monitor results from various data measurement, tracking and optimization tools and advice client on opportunities and options driven by those results.

Assist client in establishing long and short term marketing objectives and goals.

Act as internal client liaison.

Oversee new product and service launches.

Responsible for all final Agency work-quality control for assigned programs.

Manage Account staff in daily work flow, training and career development.

Supervise overall budget management.

Manage account profitability.

Participate in financial forecasting, tracking and reporting.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS:

 

A digital native with knowledge of all existing and emerging digital channels.

Comprehensive understanding of online strategy, marketing, media concepts and branding.

Strong understanding of measurement and tracking tools within all digital channels.

Experience with Brand websites, SEO/SEM, email campaigns and mobile marketing

Dynamic leadership, management and team building skills.

Experience with global businesses, preferably with clients in technology fields (broadly based).

Strong client facing skills.

Successful track record managing multiple client assignments.

Sound qualitative & quantitative analytical skills

Excellent business development and project management skills.

Knowledge of all agency functional areas; including production, media, research and database.

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

 

BA/BS degree required

Agency or internet professional services experience

Three to five+ years of overall experience; two years interactive account experience at a minimum

Experience with direct marketing, relationship marketing and CRM within an integrated marketing perspective preferred.
