Job Description

Faircom Group is an international group providing communication and marketing solutions including consultancy and design services, the creation of advertising campaigns, web-marketing and addresses (with 105 staff based in 6 countries and a turnover of 33 million Euros in 2008) .

 

We are currently recruiting:

 

A Managing Director

  

For our Actimail UK Ltd branch in London (Bromley)

  

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer for the "Benelux, Northern France, North America and UK" region, your main responsibilities will include:

  

1 - Business development:

  • You will be making your contribution (in terms of client relationship management and specific advice) to the maintenance and development of the branch's key clients or prospects
  • You will have to develop and implement profitable revenue streams by means of direct approaches to high quality key accounts (this job will involve frequent travel throughout the UK and France)

  

2 - Branch management:

  • You will be responsible for setting and meeting the branch's sales targets
  • You will be responsible & accountable for the branch's P&L
  • You will be responsible for guaranteeing the high standard level of quality and service provided to clients
  • You will ensure the financial reporting to the group's headquarters

3 - Managing a team of 2 people:

  • You will help your staff to achieve their full potential by ensuring the motivation and well-being of your team, giving them the means they need to succeed
  • You will inject fresh dynamism into the branch, promoting clear communication, high standards and enthusiasm
  • You will manage and coordinate your team as a well-organised unit
  • You will continue to attract highly skilled talents to the team who can deliver the business targets

As a native English speaker (or fully fluent in English and French) and educated to university level in business or marketing/communication, you should have at least 5 years' successful experience with a direct marketing agency, with an advertiser or other service provider, ideally as an Account Manager or Branch Manager. You should consequently have an in-depth understanding of the various aspects of direct marketing (list broking and list management, direct mail personalisation and lettershop services, e-marketing, etc.).

Remuneration package dependent upon the applicant's profile and experience, including a variable portion based on the branch's and the group's results.

Start date: March 2010 for an open-ended contract (under English law).
